Stacey Abrams Non-Profit Hit with Major Fine for Illegal Campaign Activity

The New Georgia Project, a group founded by Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams and previously run by Georgia Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock, was hit with a major fine by the state for admitting to 16 election law violations. The group was supposed to be a nonprofit focused on registering voters, but instead, they covertly raised and spent millions campaigning for Democrats. That included helping campaign for Abrams when she ran for Governor in 2018.
